Where Can I Buy A Hexagon Tank Lid

online petitions regarding new MacBooks

There are two "online petitions" in progress regarding the
new MacBooks
  • :
  • First, it is because the "FireWire ports in Apple consumer notebooks "petition
, when it comes to that available in the new MacBooks in contrast to previous models, no FireWire port would be more ." Matte display for MacBook - Petition should be brought which stated that Apple notebooks are extremely desirable in matte (ie non-reflective) screen, which also was the predecessor model at least available as an option. If this is the respected blog readers are also committed it would be nice if this should sign this petition online -. even if the prospect of success, admittedly not very gr0ß
    • given my comments:
    • The Wegrationaliserung FireWire (IEEE 1394) in the consumer MacBooks forces especially musicians who wish to see for live use a small and powerful Apple laptop that they, together with a FireWire audio can use interface, to a MacBook Pro site address, which is about 600 EUR more expensive than a MacBook and to even bigger and therefore unwieldy. Also amateur filmmakers who want to cut their recorded with a DV cam material with a small Apple laptop is offered no way to play their video material on a current MacBook. (Most DV cameras only a FireWire connection, have no USB.)
Only matte displays are ergonomically. Particular attention in notebooks, with which one can work on the move, reflecting screens a no-go. Finally, one would like to see in dim conditions, something other than his own reflection in the display (for example, I'm there on the screen ... ;)... If I am correctly informed, the workstation regulation prohibits, inter alia reflecting screens. (Okay, they also generally prohibits working on a notebook, because the screen and keyboard are positioned separately, but let the time on the sidelines ...;)

    Water To Ice How Long

Ubuntu 8.10 "Intrepid Ibex" is out

Since Thursday is the latest version of Ubuntu Linux
    (8.10) are available.
I took a chance on Friday to upgrade to the "intrepid ibex" ("Intrepid Ibex")

    • . The update manager offered me the upgrade until after I had stopped at the "Software Sources" that I want to see not only the upgrade to LTS (Long Term Support) versions. Otherwise everything worked smoothly, although I already had my fears that I will not support anything more outdated by the proprietary NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 driver, but this was fortunately not the case ... =)
    • also on another computer, on which was the RC (release candidate) of 8.10 installed, there were no problems: Update on the normal function of the RC automatically to the final version.
    • are otherwise endorsed the following products:
