claimed for some time my Hammond XK-1, that the capacity of the internal backup battery is nearing the end: the screen displays after power "warning: CHECK BATTERY". Since the battery is a coin cell CR2032 (eg Reichelt's for 0.33 EUR) is, one can make the exchange itself, as described below. Since
lost during battery change all the settings and presets on the organ factory settings reset, everything should be back up in advance, eg via MIDI dump.
Then you put the organ upside down (with the keys down) on a soft surface (a sofa offers itself) and releases the screws marked in the image below. The different colors indicate different screws. (This information may be in the assembly be helpful!)

If then the soil removed, the battery is easily accessible on the board .
The battery is on the board the right to see the top and can easily be replaced by a new button cell.
Now the floor can be placed back, observing the process in which holes are the long, in which the short screws ... ! Attn: BACKUP ERROR "(! See above)
the notice that is displayed after power can be ignored and all settings are now back as after delivery. A dump can be restored again.
